Thompson 1928 Military Version Metal Non Firing Metal and Wood; Dillinger Gun, Chicago Typewriter. This is perhaps the most recognizable firearm of World War II, made famous by the Airborne Troops of the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions. This classic non-firing replica has been out of production for several years and is now available again per your requests. This military model differs from the original commercial model in its 20 round magazine and it’s horizontal fore grip. Though heavy by today's standards, the weight helped control the .45 caliber bursts when operated on full-automatic. The Zinc Metal Working bolt cocks and dry fires (no blanks or live ammo) from an open position. The metal magazine is detachable. The Wood Stock and fore grips are not detachable. It cannot fire nor be converted to fire blanks or live ammo. Great for Collectors, Theatrical productions and for Reenactments Full Metal and Wood. Comes fully assembled in same weight and size as the original. Length: 32.5" Weight: 8.25 lbs. You can add an extra detachable magazine below.
